Jan Pfitzer is a Germany-based composer and music producer with a passion for storytelling. His approach to composition seamlessly intertwines a profound appreciation for tradition with a daring eagerness to explore and transcend conventional boundaries. He believes that music has the power to connect people and evoke emotions in a way that few other art forms can.
Throughout his career, Jan has composed music for a diverse range of projects, including feature films, documentaries, television shows, video games, theatres and commercials.
He holds two Master Degrees in music, studied in Ireland, Germany and Tokyo and tried to explore as many different musical and sonic worlds as possible.
Besides his work in the media and music industry, he’s lecturing music production and electronic composition at the University of Music Karlsruhe, at Pulse College in Dublin and at the Filmscoring Academy of Europe in Sofia.
